The innocuous prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to be passed upon the District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Malda to consider his representation dated September 23, 2016. 3. The issue relates to approval of the appointment of the petitioner, who was appointed by the school as a Group-D staff, vide resolution dated March 29, 2003. 4. Mr. Bari, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the issue is now settled pursuant to various judgments of this Court. 5. Ms. Aparna Banerjee, learned advocate representing the State submits that petitioner’s representation as above shall be duly considered by the respondent authority. 6. Having considered all the facts and circumstances as discussed above, let this writ petition be disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Malda to consider the prayer of the petitioner in representation dated September 23, 2 2016 and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of copy of this judgment. 7. The said respondent authority shall afford adequate and reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner during hearing and consider the documents and/or judgments and order of the Court, if relied upon by the petitioner at hearing. A reasoned order shall be passed by the said respondent authority within the stipulated period. 8. The present writ petition is disposed of with the directions as above. 9. With the aforesaid observations and directions, WPA 71 of 2017 is disposed of. 10.
