1. Mr. Maity, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent, is requested to assist in this matter. His appointment shall be regularized in due course of time by the office of the learned Government Pleader.
2. The present writ petition is to seek relief that the writ petitioner has been continuously serving as an Assistant Teacher in the school for a considerable period but his service is not regularized.
3. Heard the
submissions and perused the records, in view of the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the writ petitioners, the Court is inclined to direct the respondent no. 3, the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Burdwan, to treat the present writ petition as the representation of the writ petitioner and consider his prayer as made therein, after granting him a reasonable opportunity of
2 hearing. The same may be disposed of by the respondent no. 3, by dint of a reasoned order and positively within a period of six weeks from the date of submission of copy of this order, along with copy of the writ petition, before it.
4. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition being WPA 31490 of 2017 is
disposed of, along with the pending applications, if any.
5. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
