By way of these petitions, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to restrain them from terminating their services or replacing them by other contractual/ad hoc appointees, and also a further direction to allow them to work as Contractual Lecturers in Govt. Higher Secondary School Sinoo, Bhalessa, Doda, till regular selection is made against the post held by the petitioners. 2. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioners on the last date of hearing, i.e., on 29.06.2026. 3. Mr. Anishwar Chatterji Koul, learned GA appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that as per the communication received from the Chief Education Officer, Doda, the petitioners have been disengaged in the year 2018-19 and are not presently working in School Education Department on Academic Arrangement in terms of Govt. Order No. 221 Edu of 2019 dated 09.07.2019. The said communication is taken on record. S. No. 59 SWP No. 2768/2016 4. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for consideration in the present petitions, as the petitioners are no longer working as Contractual Lecturers under the Academic Arrangement. 5.
