The proceedings in this contempt petition have been initiated for non- compliance of judgment dated 16.09.2016, passed in SWP No. 1947/2016, vide which, the petition was disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to consider the case of the petitioners for their regularization as General Line Teacher in light of the recommendation made by the Zonal Education Officers, Baljarallan/Doongi and in terms of Policy and Rules governing the field within a period of six weeks from the date a copy of this order is furnished to the respondents by the petitioners. 2. Compliance report in terms of order dated 12.12.2025 has been filed. In terms of compliance report, it is submitted that the case of the petitioner Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 were examined and they were regularized as General Line Teachers. However, petitioner No. 5 could not be regularized as General Line Teacher due to pending verification of his 10+2 qualification from the concerned Board. The respondents, vide communication dated 17.01.2018, sought verification of the said S. No. 22 CPSW No. 420/2016 qualification of respondent No. 5 from the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, who vide communication dated 15.10.2025 forwarded a copy of the verification report stating that no such roll number has been issued by the Authority. 3. In view of the fact that the verification has not been received, petitioner No. 5 is be at liberty to produce the certificates in his favour before the Director, School Education, Jammu, who shall consider the same along with the communication received from the concerned Board, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 4. Accordingly, the judgment stands complied, as such, the proceedings in the contempt petition are closed.
