Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the order/judgment passed by the learned Writ Court dated 21.04.2015 in SWP No. 1101/2015 stands complied with. 02. The learned counsel with a view to fortify her submission has provided a consideration order No. 2285 of 2016 dated 04.08.2016, a perusal whereof reveals that pursuant to the directions passed by the learned Writ Court, the claim of the petitioners for their appointment as Constables in J&K Executive Police was duly considered and upon consideration on merits, rejected as being devoid of any legal force/justification. A copy of the said order has been provided to this Court, which has been taken on record. 03. Since the order/judgment passed by the learned Writ Court was only to the extent of according consideration and deciding the representation filed by the petitioners by passing of appropriate consideration order which has been complied with by the respondents by issuance of aforesaid consideration order, thus no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the S. No. 39 2 CPSW No. 15/2016 instant contempt petition alive as the order/judgment passed by the learned writ Court stands complied with. 04. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt proceedings are closed. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged. The contempt petition is disposed of.
