Hon’ble the Supreme Court of India, in case titled as Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and others vs. Saba Wani reported in 2026 INSC 439, has issued slew of directions so far as the appointment of RET Teachers is concerned. 3. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to comply with the judgment, which is the subject matter of the present contempt petition, in light of the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. 4. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to get the present contempt petition revived, in the event, his grievances remain un-addressed.
