Respondent(s) Through: None Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 04.05.2026 Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-Authorities for willful defiance of the order dated October 06, 2016, rendered by this Court in SWP No. 1541/2016 (Salima Vs State of J&K and Ors.). A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the official respondents to determine her eligibility in terms of SRO 43 of 1994 and pass appropriate orders within a specified time. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition.
