A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent to accord consideration to the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon as permissible in accordance with the rules. None is present on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the matter, which is pending for over a decade. That being so, the Court is choiceless, but to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
