A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the Director, School Education, Jammu to consider the claim of the petitioner in the wake of the rule position and take an appropriate decision. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition.
