A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioners was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision as to whether the enquiry report submitted with regard to the allegation of malpractice in the conduct of selection process for recruitment to the posts of Junior Assistants, is to be accepted or not. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioners to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition.
