Shabir Khan & ors. Vs. State & anr.). A bare reading of the order referred to above shows that the matter was disposed of by the Writ Court with the direction to the respondent- Authorities to take a final decision as regards the matter concerning the selection process initiated vide notification dated 28.01.2015. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioners to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition.
