Vs
Farooq A. Shah, Secy. Tourism & Ors.
.…. Respondent(s)

Coram:
HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE
ORDER 24.04.2026
Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order and
judgment dated May 14, 2015.
The records show that notice to the respondents was issued on July 29,
2016. However, per office report dated August 05, 2016, the petitioner failed to furnish the registered A/D covers and resultantly, the respondents remained unserved.
Apparently, the petition is pending for the past 10 years. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the same.
That being so, the Court is choiceless but to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
