A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to accord consideration to the case of the petitioners and take final decision for grant of functional as well as monetary benefits. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioners to clarify if anything actually survives in this petition.
