A bare reading of the order referred to above reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the Writ Court with a direction to the respondents to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioner in the light of the observations made in judgment dated 31.12.2007 rendered in batch of petitions lead case being SWP No. 961/2013 read with judgment passed by the learned Division Bench in LPASW No. 49/2008 decided on 30.07.2009 and pass appropriate orders thereon. None is present on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the matter, which is pending for over a decade. That being so, the Court is choiceless, but to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
