Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Vishal Sharma, DSGI with Mr. Karan Sharma, CGSC Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 24.04.2026 Vide this petition, the petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent-Authorities for willful disobedience of the order and judgment dated August 05, 2002, rendered in SWP No. 1043/1998. The said judgment was upheld by the Division Bench on November 27, 2013 in LPASW No. 440 of 2002. Subsequently, the application for condonation of delay in filing the review petition for review of order dated November 27, 2013 passed in said appeal, also came to be dismissed vide order dated December 21, 2015. A bare reading of the order dated August 05, 2002 reveals that the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of by the learned Single Bench with the observation that the petitioner would be entitled to re-instatement with all consequential benefits. It was further observed that since the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation, such consequential benefits would be extended and duly reflected in his pension also. The matter is pending for over a decade. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to clarify if anything actually survives in the petition.
