A bare reading of the order referred to above shows that MP No. 1/2016 was disposed of by the Writ Court with the observation that the respondents shall consider the claim of the petitioners as regards release of legitimate unpaid earned wages as permissible in law and pass appropriate orders. Objections on behalf of respondents have been submitted. And per the averments set out in para 4, pursuant to another petition (SWP No. 1006/2013) preferred by the petitioners, wages of the petitioners stand released. None is present on behalf of the petitioners to pursue the matter, which is pending for over a decade. That being so, the Court is choiceless, but to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
