TARSEM KUMAR,Z.E.O.BASHOLI,KATHUA ...Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Saliqa Sheikh, Assisting Counsel vice Mr. Raman Sharma, Sr. AAG CORAM:
HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE O R D E R 17-04-2026 The petitioner had prayed for initiation of the contempt proceedings against the respondent authorities for non-compliance of the order dated
21.04.2016. A bare analysis of the order, referred to above, reveals that the matter was disposed of by the Single Bench with the direction to the respondent authorities to decide the representation and claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within two weeks. Ex-facie the petition is pending for the past 10 years. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the petition. That being so, the Court is choiceless but to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
