Applicant seeks regular bail in FIR No. 60/2026 registered at PS Ranhola, Delhi dated 21.01.2026 for commission of offence under Section 311/3(5) of the BNS, 2023 (corresponding Sections 397/34 IPC). 2. FIR was registered on the basis of complaint made by the one Mr. Nikhil Jha who claimed that, on 20.01.2026, when he was present at his shop, he was robbed by three persons and, while committing robbery, a knife was also shown to him. 3. The very next day, the applicant herein was arrested at the instance and identification of the complainant and he is in custody since then. This is a digitally signed order. She submits that, as far as the complainant is concerned, he himself revealed to the father of the applicant that the applicant was not the one who had committed robbery. She submits that the complainant is also present today and is ready to reiterate the same. 5. Complainant is present in person and he has been duly identified by the Investigating Officer. He submits that the applicant in the present case is not the one who had committed the robbery in question. 6. The other two offenders were found to be juvenile. 7. Learned APP for the State submits that the complainant had made a very specific supplementary statement on 21.01.2026 and there is no confusion with respect to the identification of the applicant. 8. Fact remains that the applicant is stated to be a teenager who is 18 years of age and is in judicial custody since 21.01.2026. 9. Though the charge-sheet has already been filed, the case is yet to be committed to the Court of Sessions. 10. Nominal Roll of the applicant has been requisitioned from the Jail Authorities which indicates his overall jail conduct to be satisfactory. He is involved in one other case arising out of FIR No. 640/2025 but on bail in the said case since 18.10.2025. 11. Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case, albeit, without expressing any opinion over the merits of the case, the applicant is, hereby, directed to be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one ‘local’ surety of like amount, subject to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/CJM/Duty Magistrate with the condition that the applicant would provide his Mobile Number to the concerned SHO/IO and would ensure that such This is a digitally signed order.
