09.05.2026 Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the Award dated 30.08.2013 passed by the learned MACT Awarding compensation of Rs.15,66,081/- along with interest @ 9% from the date of filing of the claim petition. After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the
Learned Counsel for the parties after taking instructions from the respective parties that the appellant(s) shall get enhanced amount of Rs. 3,50,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the Award of the learned Tribunal as full and final compensation. In view of the settlement, the Insurance Company is directed to deposit Rs. 3,50,000/- before the Registrar General of this Court within a period of six weeks from today failing which same shall carry interest @ 9% per annum on the delayed deposit.
