07.05.2026 CRL.M.A. 14494/2026 (seeking withdrawal of Revision Petition)
1. The revisionist had taken exception to order dated 04.04.2016, whereby charges under Sections 498A/34 IPC were framed against him.
2. However, in the interregnum, since the proceedings before the learned Trial Court continued, the matter has already been disposed of and it is informed that in terms of judgement delivered by the learned Trial Court on 27.02.2026, all the four accused persons, including the revisionist herein, have been acquitted and, therefore, nothing further survives in the present petition.
3. It is in the above said background that the present application has been moved seeking withdrawal of the revision petition.
4. While allowing the above said application, the present revision petition is disposed of as having become infructous.
5. The next date of hearing i.e. 13.05.2026 stands cancelled.
