The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the Retiral Dues of the petitioner forthwith as the petitioner has retired on 31.5.2015. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that all the retiral benefits except for provident fund have been released. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents contends that LR of Ajit Singh (since deceased) has agreed to the proposal by the respondents MOHD AYUB 2026.07.24 16:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment. CWP-24795-2016 (O&M) -2- regarding disbursal of the provident fund after the decision of case pending before the Provident Fund Tribunal regarding provident fund. He has placed on record the undertaking given by the LR of the petitioner. The copy of the same is supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner as well. 4. In view of the same, the present writ petition is disposed of. 5. Liberty is however granted to the LR of the petitioner to avail the remedy as is available to him in accordance with law in case anything survives thereafter. 6.
