Appellant Insurance Company has filed an appeal for reduction of the award dated 29.10.2015 passed by the Learned MACT, awarding a compensation of Rs. 19,63,199/- along with interest @ 10% p.a. w.e.f 17.08.2013. 2. On appeal, the Insurance Company deposited the entire awarded amount along with the accrued interest before the learned Tribunal in terms of order dated 25.02.2016 and 40% of the awarded amount with accrued interest was directed to be released to the respondents/ claimants. 3. After comprehensive discussion, it is agreed between the parties that out of the balance deposited amount lying before the learned Tribunal along This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 24/03/2026 at 13:16:57 with the accrued interest, the Insurance Company will be refunded a lump sum amount of Rs. 2,50,000/- as full and final settlement and the balance amount lying deposited along with the total interest shall go to respondent/Claimant(s). 4. In view of the above, direction is issued to release the balance amount lying deposited with the learned Tribunal along with accrued interest after deducting Rs. 2,50,000/-, be released to respondents/ claimant, as per the proportion detailed in the award of the learned Tribunal, subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities. 5. The learned Tribunal is directed to refund Rs. 2,50,000/- to the Insurance Company, subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities. Statutory amount along with the interest, if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company, subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities. 6.
