The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents no. 7 to 12 not to charge the fee for the entire year along with the security amount, examination fee and other charges from the students who have already paid the security fee (refundable), admission fee and examination fee etc in advance with the respondent no.6-goldfield institute for current year keeping in view of the decision taken by the respondent-university in the meeting held on 25th March, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners in CWP-8488-2016, titled as Sumit Singh and others Vs. Union of India and others and other connected cases which are fixed for today and tagged with the above-mentioned writ petition contends that all these connected/tagged writ petitions have been filed by the students of same college and cause of action for filing the writ petition is also the same in all the writ petitions. Further that the petitioners have completed their MBBS course. Therefore, nothing survives in all these connected/tagged writ petitions.
3. In view of the above statement, the present writ petition is dismissed MOHD AYUBas having been rendered infructuous. 2026.07.14 09:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
