A statement made on behalf of the appellants that in full and final satisfaction of their claim, an amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) over and above the amount awarded by the tribunal be awarded and be disbursed to appellants, having been accepted on behalf of the insurer of the offending vehicle, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit with the office of the Lok Adalat a cheque in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) favouring appellant No.2-Smt.Varinder Pal Kaur, for and on behalf of all the claimants, within six weeks from today, failing which the amount hereby awarded shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment thereof. On behalf of appellant No.2- Smt.Varinder Pal Kaur, it has also been stated that in case of any dispute regarding apportionment amongst the appellants, she shall satisfy claim of the other appellants. Appellant No.2-Smt.Varinder Pal Kaur shall remain bound by the statement to the above effect. This settlement is subject to the recovery rights granted in favour of the Insurance Company in view of the fact that owner and driver of the offending vehicle have chosen not to challenge the order of the learned Tribunal. The cheque so deposited may be collected by the above-named appellant or the counsel representing the appellants against proper receipt. Miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
