2. In compliance with the order dated 24.12.2025 passed by this Court, reply/explanation by way of affidavit dated 19.01.2026 of respondent No.3 – Sanjiv Kumar, Assistant Passport Officer, Amritsar has already been filed.

4. I have gone through the explanation as well as unconditional apology tendered by respondent No.3 – Sanjiv Kumar, Assistant Passport Officer, Amritsar and the same is accepted.

Considering the fact that passport of petitioner already stands released; no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition; however, it is observed that in case any further proceedings are to be carried out against the petitioner, the same would be done in accordance with law.
