The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has taken back the brief. 2. On the basis of the statement, Mr. P.A. Jibhkate, Advocate, stands discharged, as requested. The petitioner, however, has not made any alternative arrangement to represent him, nor is he present before the Court. 3. It appears that the petitioner is seeking the benefit of continuity of service with effect from the date of his alleged initial appointment, i.e. 23.09.2009. 4. As such, his appointment was regularized with effect from 18.08.2015. Prior thereto, his services were continued on a yearly basis. 5. Since none appears for the petitioner, either the purpose of filing petition is served or the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the cause.
