However, having regard to request made by learned Advocate appearing for respondent, this Court called upon him to consider whether there was any possibility of an amicable settlement between parties, particularly having regard to fact that petitioner-employee is no more. 2. Learned Advocate for respondent, on instructions, makes a statement that respondent is willing to offer an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to petitioner towards one-time settlement of claim made by petitioner. 3. Learned Advocate for petitioner, on instructions, states that Page 1 of 2 2026:BHC-AUG:37212 901 WP 10767-2016 petitioner is willing to give up entire claim in lieu of payment of Rs.2,00,000/-. 4. In view of aforesaid, writ petition is disposed of in terms of settlement arrived at between parties. 5. Respondent shall pay an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to petitioner, which will be accepted by petitioner towards full and final settlement of claim made by petitioner in Complaint (ULP) No.19 of 2007. Said amount be paid on or before 30/09/2026. 6. It is made clear that, as this order is passed in terms of mutual arrangement arrived at between parties, same will not be treated as precedent.
