IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK W.P.(C ) No.21496 of 2016 CNR No. ODHC010348632016 Rajib Giri …. Petitioner None -versus- Govt. of Odisha & Others …. Opposite Parties Mr. S.P. Das, ASC Mr. B.B. Mohanty, Adv. (for O.P. NO.3) CORAM: THE HON’BLE MR.JUSTICE BIRAJA PRASANNA SATAPATHY Order No. ORDER 02.09.2026 3. 1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical) Mode. 2. None appeared for the Petitioner in spite of revised call. Heard Mr. B.B. Mohanty, learned counsel appearing for Opp. party No.3. 3. Mr. B.B. Mohanty, learned counsel appearing for Opp. party No.3 produced copy of judgment passed by this Court on 27.08.2026 in W.P.(C ) No.18436 of 2021 in Court. The same be kept on record. 3.1. It is contended that in the aforesaid Writ Petition, the impugned order which is the subject-matter of challenge in the present Writ Petition was also an issue. But this Court was not inclined to interfere with the impugned order, while dismissing the Writ Petition in W.P.(C ) No.18436 of 2021. It is accordingly contended that since the impugned order has been upheld by this Court in W.P.(C ) No.18436 of 2021 dtd 27.08.2026, prayer made in the Writ Petition cannot be allowed. 4. Since nobody is there on behalf of the Petitioner, considering the submission made by Mr. B.B. Mohanty, learned counsel appearing for Opp. party No.3 and the judgment delivered in W.P.(C ) No.18436 of 2021, this Court is of the view that the impugned order having been confirmed by this Court in the aforesaid case, no relief can be extended as prayed for. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. (Biraja Prasanna Satapathy) Judge sngita
