Mrs. Pati, learned Counsel for the Respondent No.2 files e-mail confirmation slip received from M/s. Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co. Ltd., authorizing her to sign compromise settlement on behalf of the Insurance Company in Lok Adalat today. The same is taken on record. 3. Learned Counsel for the parties file the Joint Compromise Petition indicating therein that parties have arrived at a compromise without any coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute/claim at Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) towards further consolidated compensation, over and above the awarded amount in M.A.C. Case No.413 of 2013/139 of 2014. The Joint Compromise Petition is taken on record. 4. Since parties are absent, on being asked, learned Counsel for the parties submit, they have executed the Joint Compromise Petition after taking consent from their respective clients. 5. The impugned Award is modified accordingly. As agreed between the parties, the amount, as indicated above, shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Tribunal in shape of cheque within two months hence. 6. On deposit of the said amount, the Tribunal shall release the amount in favour of Appellant (Claimant before the Court below in M.A.C. Case No.413 of 2013/139 of 2014 in accordance with law. 7. Accordingly, the MACA stands disposed of. 8. It is made clear that, since the Appeal is disposed of in Lok Adalat, no Court Fee is payable by the Claimant. 9.
