The petitioners have invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court, inter alia, making the following prayer:- “(i) Why the Opp. Parties No.3 shall not be directed to take necessary steps by directing the Chief Executive of Opp. Party No.6-Society and the Financing Bank-Opp. Party No.5 not to allow Opp. Party No.7 to work as Asst. Secretary, by disposing of the representation at Annexure-4 within stipulated period. (ii) Why the Opposite Party No.2 shall not be directed to conduct a Special Audit of the Society-Opp. Party No.6 within stipulated period.” 2. The writ petition is pending since 2016. When the matter was called, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners. It seems that the cause of action does not survive.
