The petitioner on 23.11.2016 filed this writ petition praying for a direction to the opposite parties to dispose of his Mutation Case bearing No.2450/2016 within a stipulated period and further to direct the opposite parties to issue Record of Rights in his favour. 4. It is seen that after scrutiny of this petition, the office by its report dated 23.11.2016 found that the petitioner did not submit any material along with his said writ petition pertaining to pendency of the said Mutation Case bearing No.2450/2016 and the matter was pending since then for rectification of the defects by the petitioner. However, the petitioner did not take any step(s) for rectifying the said defect(s). 5. By efflux of time, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
