learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2.
2. The petitioner and the respondent No. 2 are husband and wife.
3. Mrs. Rongmei as well as Mr. Dev have submitted that both the husband and wife have settled their dispute by way of compromise and they are now living together peacefully.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed.
5. Under the given circumstances, the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 16.11.2015 passed by the learned Additional Chief Magistrate, Golaghat in G.R. Case No.1277/2012 as well as the judgment dated 15.07.2016 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Golaghat in Crl. Appeal No.64/2015 are set aside.
