IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction Appellate Side
Ct.19 11.09.26 Item No.172 Sws.M
WPA 20527 of 2016 with CAN 1 of 2025 with CAN 2 of 2025
Amiya Giri & Ors. Vs Union of India & Ors.
Mr. Pradip Kumar Ghosh …..for the petitioners
In Re.: CAN 2 of 2025
1. The affidavit of service as filed today on behalf of the writ petitioners is taken on record.
2. None appears on behalf of the respondents despite service.
3. This is an application for condonation of delay of 2840 days in filing the application for restoration being CAN 1 of 2025.
4. On perusal of the petitioners under consideration and after hearing the learned advocate for the writ petitioners, this Court finds that within the four corners of the instant interlocutory application, the writ petitioners have made no venture as to what prompted them to file CAN 1 of 2025 after 2840 days from the date of dismissal of the writ petition.
5. In view of such, this Court finds that the CAN 2 of 2025 is devoid of any merit and is hereby dismissed.

6. In view of the dismissal of CAN 2 of 2025, CAN 1 of 2025 is also dismissed.
