This Criminal Revision Case is filed challenging the Judgment dated 14.03.2019 passed in CrI.A.No.666 of 2016 by the learned III Additional Session Judge, Guntur, confirming the Judgment dated 22.12.2016 passed in C.C.No.469 of 2015 by the learned Special Judicial I Class Magistrate for Prohibition and Excise, Guntur. 2. Heard Sri Y.Subba Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri G.V.S.Mehar Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent No.1 and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State. 3.
On 05.05.2026, Sri Y.Subba Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter is compromised between the parties and paid an amount of Rs.7,05,375/- to the complainant towards full and final settlement in this matter, recording the same, the revision petition may be allowed and case against the petitioner/accused may be closed. 4. I.A.Nos.1 & 2 of 2026 have been filed by the complainant/respondent No.2 along with joint memo, seeking to record compromise in the present revision and to compound the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable

Instruments Act and set aside the conviction and sentence passed against the petitioner/accused in C.C.No.469 of 2015. 5. In that view of the matter, I.A.Nos.1 and 2 of 2026 are allowed. Consequently, the Criminal Revision Case is allowed in terms of compromise, subject to the payment of an amount of Rs.10,000/- to the High Court Legal Services Committee by the Petitioner/Accused. On such payment, the Secretary is directed to utilize this amount for the sake of visually challenged children living in the Government Homes or NGO Homes. 6. Accordingly, the C.C.No. 469 of 2015 on the file of the learned Special Judicial I Class Magistrate for Prohibition and Excise, Guntur dated 22-12- 2016 which was confirmed in CrI.A.No. 666 of 2016 on the file of the learned III Additional Session Judge, Guntur dated 14-03-2019 are hereby set aside. Accordingly, the petitioner/accused is acquitted. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________________________ DR.
