In this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondents- University, to issue a degree of Philosophy (faculty of Science) in the Physics in conformity with UGC Regulations of 2009. 02. Vide order dated 26.11.2015 passed by this Court, a direction was issued to that the University shall issue a provisional certificate of having acquired a Ph.D degree in favour of the petitioner. 03. The main relief prayed for by the petitioner through the medium of this petition stands granted on the very first date of hearing. It is for this reason that petitioner has taken no effective steps to pursue this petition, this petition has not been listed after 04.12.2015. 04. Today when the case was called out for hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. This indicates that petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the instant petition.
