JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR, JUDGE ORDER In the present petition, the petitioner has essentially sought a direction to the respondents not to disengage her by appointing any other candidate against the post of contractual Lecturer in Government Higher Secondary School, Chinta, Tehsil Bhaderwah, District Doda. This petition has been pending since the year 2015. Vide order dated 21.12.2015, it was directed that the petitioner shall not be replaced by any other contractual Lecturer. However, the petitioner has not taken steps for service upon the respondents, even though more than ten years have elapsed.Otherwise also, one of the primary reliefs sought in the present petition stood granted to the petitioner at the interim stage in terms of order dated 21.12.2015. As regards the benefit of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Special Provisions) Act, 2010, the issue has already been set at rest by the Division Bench of this Court in UT and others vs. Om Parkash (WP(C ) No. 429/2026, decided on 23.02.2026). In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition for adjudication. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
