Learned senior counsel for the respondents upon instructions, had made a statement that pursuant to the selection process, that is subject matter of the writ petition, no selections were made. However, selections were made pursuant to the initiation of fresh selection process. 2. In view of this statement, on the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner had sought time to have instructions in the matter. 3. Today none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner and it seems that because of the aforesaid subsequent developments as narrated by learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents, the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the present petition.
