1. The instant matter has come up before this Court after 11 years, in which, the petitioner has sought quashing of Police Verification Report from CID Headquarters J&K dated 24.04.2014, whereby the case of the petitioner was returned as ‘Not Recommended’ by respondent No.
3. and also for quashing of order dated 23.09.2014, issued by respondent No. 2, whereby the respondent No. 2 has refused to issue passport to the petitioner.
2. The record reveals that during the intervening period, the petitioner has taken no steps to get the case listed and even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the matter.
3. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
4. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
