By this application, the applicant is seeking the amendment to add the respondent No.2 “The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, 8th Floor, New Excelsior Building, A. K. Nayak Marg, Fort Mumbai – 1 through its Commissioner / Chairman” and respondent No.3 “Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai, through its Registrar, D. N. Road, Fort Mumbai – 400001”, as a necessary party and also amendment in a prayer clauses. 3. Heard learned counsel for the applicant, who submitted that the petitioner has challenged the order of the Scrutiny Committee invalidating the tribe claim as a ‘Halbi’. On 24.06.2026, the notice was already issued to the respondent. 2026:BHC-NAG:10859-DB (2) 33.caw.2015.2026 He further submitted that the petitioner is admitted to the course on the seat reserved for the Scheduled Tribe, but due to the invalidation, there is a likelihood of cancellation of his admission and, therefore, he wants to amend the petition by adding “The State Common Entrance Test Cell” and “Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Arts, Mumbai” as a party as well as a prayer clauses. 4. Learned AGP has no objection for the same. 5. In view of that, the amendment application is allowed. 6. The petitioner to carry out the amendment within one week. On carrying out the amendment, the notices be issued to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 i.e. newly added respondents. 7.
