1. Appellant has filed an appeal for enhancement of the award dated 17.01.2014 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs.7,83,256/- along with interest @ 7.5% from the date of filing of the claim petition.
2. We find that the parties have arrived at a compromise in Pre-Sitting Lok Adalat, wherein, it is agreed that the insurance company shall pay an enhanced amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- as lump sum compensation over and above the award of the learned Tribunal to the appellant and the said compromise arrived in Pre-Sitting Lok Adalat was signed by the learned counsel for the appellant. 3. Insurance Company is directed to deposit the lump sum amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- before the Registrar General of this Court within a period of six weeks, failing which, the same shall carry interest @9% p.a. on the delayed deposit.
4. On deposit, the same shall be released to the appellant on fulfilment of all the requisite formalities.
5. In terms of the aforesaid, the present appeal along with pending application (s) stand disposed of with directions in terms of the settlement.
