The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside order (Annexure P-12) passed by respondent No.3 and for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to revise the pension of the petitioner retrospectively w.e.f. 01.04.2001 on the basis of his revised basic pay, and to extend to him the benefit of revised commuted value of pension along with arrears thereof, w.e.f. 01.04.2001, along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2. While filing the writ petition, there is a specific note in para 4 of the index that “CWP-24996-2014, titled as “Kharati Ram Maini Vs. State Bank of India and others”, is pending claiming identical relief. And in the instant writ petition, the petitioner is claiming exactly the same relief as has been sought by petitioners in CWP-24996-2014, titled as “Kharati Ram MOHD AYUBMaini Vs. Learned counsel for the respondents contend that the similar matter has already been dealt with by Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-24996-2014, titled as “Kharati Ram Maini Vs. State Bank of India and others”, decided on 13.03.2026. 4. In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed in terms of judgment passed in CWP-24996-2014, titled as “Kharati Ram Maini Vs. State Bank of India and others”, decided on 13.03.2026. 5. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
