Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in CWP-11427 of 2015 – Sukhjad Singh and others Versus State of Punjab and another, decided on 19.12.2018 (Annexure P-5), which has been upheld in LPA-516 of 2020 – State of Punjab and others Versus Sukhjad Singh and others, decided on 28.03.2022 and by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in SLP (C) No.15325 of 2022 – The State of Punjab and another Versus Sukhjad Singh and others, decided on 02.05.2025, which has been followed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP-23027 of 2016 – Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur and others Versus State of Punjab and others, decided on 24.09.2024 and in pursuance thereto services of various persons have been regularised vide orders dated 16.11.2025. 4. Learned State counsel has not been able to controvert the said contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner despite his best efforts. 5. Disposed of in terms of judgment passed by this Court in CWP-11427 of 2015 – Sukhjad Singh and others versus State of Punjab and another decided on 19.12.2018 (Annexure P-5).
