Pada, learned Standing Counsel, Tourism Department as well as Ms. P. Pangu, learned State Counsel, A.P. This writ petition was instituted in the year 2015 with the grievance regarding Page No.# 4/4 the seniority. Shri Panging, learned counsel for the petitioner has, however, placed before this Court a copy of the Provisional Seniority List of District Tourism Officers (DTOs) of the Tourism Department, dated 03.07.2025 as per which, the date of the appointment of the petitioner in the parent Department as 01.05.2007 has been taken into consideration. He has submitted that the petitioner had joined the Tourism Department on deputation. In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner that in case, the final Seniority List is not in accordance with the Provisional Seniority List, the petitioner can approach the Court for redressal of his grievance.
