This is the petition for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience and non-compliance of order and judgment dated 18.04.2014 passed by this Court in SWP No. 824/2014, whereby, this Court has directed the respondents to accord consideration to the petitioners’ regularization having regard to the averments made in the petition and in accordance with rules occupying the field. 02. Respondents have filed compliance report and have also enclosed therewith the copy of Government order No. 257-RD & PR of 2020 dated 17.12.2020, a perusal whereof indicates that the case of the petitioners for regularization in terms of judgment (supra) has been considered and the same has been rejected being devoid of merit. 03. In view of the compliance report filed and the consideration order placed on record, there remains nothing in this contempt petition for further proceedings. Sr. No. 10 2 04. In view of the above, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are dropped and the contempt petition is, accordingly, dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies against the Government/ consideration order (supra) in accordance with law.
