H I G H C O U R T O F J A M M U & K A S H M I R A N D L A D A K H HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU SWP No. 9900011/2014 IA No. 99001/2014[D- 3291/2014] Omkari Devi …..Appellant(s) Through: None. Vs State of J&K & Ors. .…. Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Jagmeet Kour, Assisting counsel vice Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG. Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV KUMAR, JUDGE ORDER 24.04.2026 01. The instant petition has been pending since the year 2014. It was taken up for consideration by the Court on 09.09.2014 and thereafter on 15.09.2014, when learned counsel for the petitioner was granted time to remove the defects pointed by the Registry so that the petition could be considered for admission. 02. More than 11 years have passed, the petitioner has not come forward to remove the defects. This petition has, thus, remained pending for consideration since 2014. 03. Today, when the case was called up, nobody has appeared to argue the matter. It seems that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the instant matter. 04. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution along with connected application(s). 05. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
