Through the medium of present contempt petition, the petitioner is seeking implementation of order dated 20.12.2013 passed by the writ court, whereby the respondents were directed to accord consideration to petitioner’s claim in the light of averments made in the writ petition and the treatment given to respondent No. 5 provided the petitioner is similarly circumstanced with the said respondent. 02. In the previous statement of facts filed by the respondents, it was indicated that the case of the petitioner has been referred to General Administration Department (GAD) Serial No. 20 Regular List CPSW No. 405/2014 on 07.12.2015 for creation of supernumerary post of Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) for regularization of his services. 03. Today, learned counsel for the respondents has produced a copy of Govt. Order No. 247-FD of 2017 dated 11.08.2017 in terms whereof the services of petitioner have been regularized against the supernumerary post of Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) w.e.f. 02.05.1997 to 31.01.2002. 04. In view of the above, the judgment of the writ court stands complied with. Thus, no case is made out for proceeding against the respondents. The contempt proceedings are closed and the petition is, accordingly, disposed of along with connected application(s), if any.
