Appellant has filed an appeal for reduction of the award dated 10.10.2013 passed by the learned MACT awarding compensation of Rs. 15,92,388/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of the claim petition. On appeal, the insurance company deposited the entire awarded amount along with up-to-date interest with the Registrar General of this Hon’ble Court in terms of order dated 10.01.2014 and 80% of the awarded amount was already directed to be released to the respondents/claimants in terms of award of the Tribunal. 2. Needless to say that the appellant shall be entitled to refund of the statutory amount along with interest, and direction is issued to release the same to the appellant. 6.
