Instant petition has been filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, assailing the Award, passed in a dispute arising out of a commercial contract between the parties. 2. Mr. Diwakar Dev Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the petitioners represents that the instant matter falls within the definition of commercial dispute in Section 2(c) of the Commercial Courts Act. He further submits that as per notification dated 18.08.2025, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to constitute and confer ex-officio powers of Commercial Court at District level on each District Judge/Additional District Judge to be exercised by them in their respective jurisdiction with the pecuniary value, which shall be not less than rupees three lakh and not more than rupees one crore. 3. Since the amount involved in the present case is less than rupees one crore, therefore, as per above notification, the matter is remitted to Commercial Court/District Judge, Solan. The parties are directed to appear before the Commercial Court/District Judge, Solan, on 17.06.2026. 4. Registry to retain a photocopy of the record of this petition.
