(Oral) The instant appeal has been preferred by the appellant – Sunil Kumar @ Sheelu assailing judgment dated 11.07.2014 and order of sentence dated 15.07.2014 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Sonepat vide which he has been held guilty for having committed offence punishable under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code and Section 25 of Arms Act and has been sentence to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay a fine amounting to Rs.22,000/- Learned State counsel has apprised this Court that the appellant – Sunil Kumar @ Sheelu had expired during the pendency of the present appeal. He has furnished photocopy of death certificate of the appellant, which is taken on record. As per death certificate, the appellant had expired on 11.05.2021.
