(Oral) The present appeal has been filed against the judgment dated 06.11.2013 in case FIR No.123 dated 05.06.20211 registered under Section 302 of IPC at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, whereby the appellant was convicted under Section 302 of IPC and sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life. There is no representation on behalf of the appellant. Learned State counsel has produced on record photocopy of a letter sent by the Superintendent of Central Jail, Patiala dated 07.07.2026, the same would read that the appellant Karamjit Singh had committed suicide in the jail on 03.04.2024. In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of having been abated.
